Information

Need information on assistive technology products, vendors, services, or other resources?

ATRC is Hawaii’s resource center for assistive technology (AT). The process of looking for assistive technology can be difficult and time consuming. Our two AT Guides, “The Kupuna Guide” and “Tools To Use”, describe various AT devices for a variety of abilities. Other resources to further help you include AT Resource Sheets which list the “most asked for” devices, and includes both local and national vendors. To assist in the search for assistive technology and AT information, our Information Referral System provides information on:

  • Assistive technology devices
  • Local vendors
  • Mainland vendors
  • Local services
  • Mainland services
  • Other AT resources

Information is a key component of ATRC's programs. We make every attempt at having our brochures, literature, presentation materials, and this website in alternative formats so that the information is accessible to as many people as possible. If you need information in a different format, please contact ATRC.
